Older Puppy Basics with Joe Hague at Jeffrey's North Beach (5:00pm starting Tuesday, June 11)
Is your newly adopted puppy too old for the Puppy Basics? The curriculum of this class is very similar to our Puppy Basics, but for adolescent puppies and young adult dogs who are between 4 and 18 months old.
This class is designed to develop a solid foundation of basic dog skills so all members of the family can interact safely and confidently, and have fun with the new family member.
Graduates of this class can join our Puppy Intermediate course.

Number of sessions: 5
Frequency and Duration: 50 minutes per week on Tuesdays from June 11 to July 16 (no class on July 2)
Time: 5:00 p.m. - 5:50 p.m.
Venue: Jeffrey’s North Beach (1841 Powell Street, San Francisco)
REQUIREMENTS
4 to 18 months old (Eligible DOB: 11/20/2022 - 2/9/2024. If your dog falls slightly outside of the listed eligible DOB, email us at Events@JeffreysPets.com BEFORE you sign up for this class.
Dog must have been in your home for AT LEAST 10 days prior to the first meeting. This is for the health and safety of all our puppy students. If your puppy has been in your home less than 10 days, you can attend the first class WITHOUT your puppy and then practice at home during the week.
Your puppy must be FULLY vaccinated AT LEAST 7 days prior to the first meeting.
Bordetella (Kennel cough) and Canine Influenza Virus H3N2/H3N8 vaccines recommended, but not required. Please consult your veterinarian.
Your dog must not attend class wearing a slip, shock, choke or prong collar. Flat collars or harnesses ONLY.
This course is not appropriate for fearful, aggressive, or reactive dogs or dogs who bark excessively. Owners of dogs who exhibit signs of these issues are encouraged to seek out private training.
